Torah study, home tour mark Temple activity

Farrington’s Grove Holiday Home Tour

Torah study sessions and tours have kept United Hebrew Congregation Terre Haute congregants informed, entertained and involved in the community during recent weeks.

The Farrington’s Grove Holiday Home Tour on Sunday, Dec. 4, brought more than 100 visitors to Temple Israel.

Meanwhile, Student Rabbi Aaron Rozovsky dutifully schedules Saturday Torah studies that engage congregants and now a wider audience at Westminster Village.

Rabbi Aaron introduced the first of a planned monthly series of Torah studies/outreach sessions to a culturally diverse group of seniors who filled the Media Room at Westminster Village on Saturday, Dec. 10 — just a couple of hours after he’d wrapped up a morning Torah study at the Temple.

The afternoon audience included UHC Terre Haute members and Westminster Village residents Louise and Walter Sommers and Allane and Karl Zucker.

Low, fluorescent lights set the tone for artistically grainy images from the event. (Select an image to begin a slideshow.):
