United Hebrew Congregation Terre Haute members joined the approximately 150 area residents who attended Sunday’s Charlottesville Solidarity Vigil at Vigo County Courthouse.
The Facebook group Wabash Valley in Solidarity with Charlottesville quickly organized the event in affiliation with the progressive grassroots movement Indivisible in response to a violent Unite the Right rally just day earlier in Charlottesville, Va.

The newly created Wabash Valley in Solidarity with Charlottesville has invited United Hebrew Congregation Terre Haute members to participate in a Charlottesville Solidarity Vigil, 7-8 p.m. Sunday, August 13, 2017, at the Vigo County Courthouse, 33 S 3rd St. in Terre Haute.
As part of its promotion for “Stained Glass Sunday Afternoon”, from 1-4 p.m. June 11, Terre Haute Landmarks has included Temple Israel in a limited series of special placemats to be distributed throughout June at local restaurants.
