Student Rabbi Kylynn Perdue-Bronson will lead two Torah study sessions beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, in the Vestry Room at Temple Israel, and an afternoon session at Westminster Village.
Kylynn will begin the discussion with Talmudic study on Mishnah Shabbat 19, from 9-9:45 a.m. This is a mitzvah challenge between brit milah and Shabbat.
Parashah Noach (Noah) will follow from 10-10:45 a.m., when Kylynn will help the group explore layers of biblical text.
An interfaith Torah discussion group is set for 1 p.m. Saturday in the media room at Westminster Village.
