Student Rabbi Aaron Rozovsky conducted a morning Sukkot service for Sunday school students, parents and United Hebrew Congregation Terre Haute members Oct. 23 at the Sukkah raised a week earlier in the yard just behind Temple Israel.
Herschel Chait demonstrated shaking of the lulav and etrog before offering everyone a chance to follow suit.
After enjoying holiday snacks, students returned to class, with the younger kids decorating small gourds, coloring pictures and creating a paper sukkah, while Rabbi Aaron worked with Bar Mitzvah students.
