Latter-day Saints members to join UHC for Shabbat services on October 19

United Hebrew Congregation will welcome our friends from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints of Terre Haute for Erev Shabbat services at 7:30 p.m. Friday, October 19.

Student Rabbi Jonathan Falco will officiate Shabbat services at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, in the sanctuary at UHC.

Student Rabbi Jonathan Falco will officiate in the sanctuary. The service will be live-streamed to the Vestry Room for those who are unable to climb stairs. An Oneg Shabbat will follow.

The Latter-day Saints community has partnered with UHC on three separate occasions to provide receptions after programs held at the synagogue.

Those events include the April 15 Yom HaShoah observance featuring guest speaker Agnes Schwartz and Annelies, a choral program based on The Diary of Anne Frank.

The UHC board expressed its appreciation to the Latter-day Saints by extending this special invitation.
