Dr. Alvin Rosenfeld will speak on “The Role of Holocaust Memory at a Time of Rising Antisemitism” for the Walter Sommers Lecture Series at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, 2024, at CANDLES Holocaust Museum and Education Center, 1532 S. 3rd St. in Terre Haute.
Admission is $5. Attendees may register in advance.
Dr. Rosenfeld is director of the Center for the Study of Contemporary Antisemitism and professor of Jewish Studies at Indiana University.
Walter Sommers was a longtime member of UHC, Kristallnacht survivor and CANDLES docent. He passed away Feb. 17, 2022, at age 101.
