Sisterhood continued one tradition over the summer and then resumed its fall schedule with a lunch meeting at McAlister’s Deli and work on the 5780 Rosh Hashanah greetings booklet.
Thank you all for your donations and dues, and to the anonymous individual who left a lovely note and generous donation at Norma’s office.

As I’ve mentioned previously, everyone’s life is full but I think we all need to take the time to get together one day a month for lunch with friends.
You’re welcome to join us for lunch, even if you are not a Sisterhood member. And if you choose to join Sisterhood, we would love to have you.
Good Cheer Club inspires as always
Sisterhood held its annual Good Cheer Club for the Blind luncheon last July at the Temple and as always, everyone had a good time.
The Circuit Riders band provided entertainment and Wilma, Betsy, Jo and I played host, with Jo handling setup the day before the event.
The Good Cheer Club is a wonderful group. They meet once a once a month and when they get together with us, they always have uplifting stories to tell.
We can always look around and see people whose lives appear to be better than ours, or worse. Our friends at the Good Cheer Club teach us to find inspiration and meaning in our everyday lives.
Quilt contest provides opportunity to see old friends
I entered a quilt in a recent competition at Westminster Village for religious institutions in the area. We didn’t win, but Sisterhood was represented and we were happy to visit with members of our Temple family who live at Westminster.
